All internal bearings and output drive bearings are lubricated for life, sealed and maintenance free. Maximum stem acceptance is listed in the IW gearbox brochure: PUB028-079. Please note this is a NON THRUST gearbox and must NOT be used for direct mounted rising stem valves or any other thrust producing application.
